Carillion HealthcareFor this 1,050 space parking structure, Shockey manufactured and erected more than 260,000 square feet of architectural and structural precast concrete. Both the Winchester and Fredericksburg plants contributed to produce approximately 800 pieces , including architectural cladding panes, column covers, double tees, flat slabs, walls, stairs, columns, L beams, double ledger beams, IT beams, fascia, false columns, and rampwalls. This project, which included the challenges of a tight site and a location between a railroad and a river, teamed Shockey with Beers Skanska, Inc, an internationally-known contractor widely recognized for its global expertise and environmental building.
